A bit of drizzly dampness (the first since Kettleshulme two weeks ago) had returned for this Wednesday evening race from The Beehive pub in Glossop. Thankfully it stopped just in time for our race, which was a 'long' 4 miles with lots of up and down, as you would expect from around these parts. It was my first attempt and this year it was a designated Pennine Fell Runners championship race. A Pennine runner (Simon Coldrick) broke the course record with a time of 31:26. I was well pleased therefore to finish in 41:47.
My pictures are here.
